Coves Vaticans
The coves Vaticans constitute an evocative monumental complex for the many historical memories. Beyond guarding the tombe of numerous pontefici, the coves are rich of coming from works of art from the ancient basilica. Under the necropoli coves one with Christian antichi extends sepolcri and the sacred zone of the tomba of Saint Peter. Between the remarkable works of art conserved in the coves go at least remembers fragments of frescoes attributed to Peter Little horses to you, works in bronze of Antonio Pollaiolo (ornaments of the tomba of Pope Sisto IV, carved in 1493) and sculptures of Arnolfo di Cambio (funeral monument of Pope Bonifacio VIII)
